SCI/Scandicrafts, Inc. 4-pc. Enameled Rosette Irons
These cast iron tools are used for making Rosettes, the Swedish lemon-flavored pastries that are fried until golden brown, then dusted with powdered sugar. To make them, you'll need the L-shaped wand and a form - this set comes with 3 -- a rosette, star and butterfly. After attaching the wand to one of the forms, just immerse the form into hot oil, then dip into your batter. The batter, which will cling to the form, can then be dunked back into the hot oil for about 3 minutes. Afterwards, the golden brown rosette can be loosened from the form, then sprinkled with sugar or cinnamon (or both)!
