All-Clad 2-qt. Stainless Sauce Pan

This is a terrific all-purpose pot for cooking vegetables, rice, oatmeal, and dozens of other foods. The pan heats well because of its thick aluminum core, and the outside is protected by a layer of shiny stainless steel. This 2-quart pan is a little taller than standard 2-quart saucepans and therefore has a narrower surface area, which means you can leave it on the stovetop longer and foods will be less likely to scorch.
